Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Technician, you will work at customer sites to install, commission, maintain and provide ongoing technical support for our equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
Installation and commissioning
- Install machines and equipment at customer sites.
- Commission the equipment and verify that it is operating correctly.
- Train operators in the safe and reliable use of the equipment.
- Provide post-installation technical support.
Maintenance and troubleshooting
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance work.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electrotechnical faults.
- Replace defective parts.
- Ensure that equipment is returned to service.
Workshop assembly
- Assemble sub-assemblies and machines in accordance with the supplied drawings.
- Carry out the required adjustments.
- Verify equipment conformity and quality before delivery.
Customer relations
- Provide clear and effective technical solutions.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and the After-Sales Service Manager.
- Represent 3R Industries during on-site service visits.
Candidate profile:
Qualifications
Two-year post-secondary qualification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or an equivalent field.
Experience
At least two years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in industrial maintenance or as a Field Service Technician.
Skills
- Ability to read technical drawings, assembly instructions and bills of materials.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Confident using IT tools.

A full driving licence is essential. Regular travel within France and occasional international travel will be required.
