The HTA eco+ kit is suitable for working and preparing network cables.
It is optimized so that with only 3 tools, you can perform the complete preparation of a medium voltage cable from 50 to 630 mm2 at lower cost.
This kit offers the best compromise between savings and performance. If you are looking for the most versatile kit possible with efficient work, we would recommend opting forthe Fi2A MV switchgear. If, on the other hand, you would prefer the most economical solution possible, we would suggestthe eco2+ MV switchgear.
Comparison with our other MV cabinets:
The difference with the eco2+ control unit is in the stripping tool. In addition, it contains the AMS stripper. High-performance tool that will nevertheless be slower on robust sheaths. As for the AIS cutting pliers from HV switchgear eco+, it will enable more efficient work on more robust ducts with greater precision. The Fi2A control unit will offer the AMX stripper which will be faster to execute than the cutting pliers. Moreover the AMX has fewer spare parts, as the blade adjustment is done manually. Finally, you will find in this kit a tool for chamfering the primary insulation.
For the semi-conductive layers and primary insulation, you will have the same tools in the 3 kits.
The HTA eco+ cabinet contains :
- Universal cable stripper AISfor outer sheaths of MV & LV cables from ø 16 to 54 mm. Although it can work on robust sheaths such as polyethylene, it can nevertheless remove low voltage sheaths.

- 10 (x14) color-coded plastic washers
- 2 spare screws for blade fixing
- Cable stripper FBSfor vulcanized semi-conductive screen. However, it can also work for extruded, bonded semi-conductive layers with diameter from 10 to 52mm and insulation layer thickness from 0 to 1.5mm
- IMS II Cable Stripperfor all types of primary insulating sheaths with diameters from 15 to 52mm – Insulation thickness from 0 to 15mm
