Hydraulic power unit
Hydraulic power units supply monofilament tensioning jacks with stable and controlled pressure to guarantee progressive tensioning of prestressing steel. Different configurations are available depending on site or precast requirements: flow rate, tank capacity, operating pressure and control options.
Depending on the application, the system can include:
- Connection of up to 3 tensioning jacks ;
- Automatic pre-setting of loads;
- Jack switching via simple electric button;
- Digital pressure display or glycerin-filled pressure gauge;
- Suspension gantry to facilitate jack handling.
Monofilament tensioning jack
PAUL tensioning jacks are designed to enable simple, fast and efficient use by a single operator.
Thanks to a unique hydraulic circuit with 4 hoses and 2-button control, all functions run automatically to simplify tensioning operations.
Tension button
The steel is gripped hydraulically then tensioned progressively.
When the set tensioning force is reached, the operation stops automatically.
Return button
The steel is first wedged hydraulically to minimize wedging losses, then the tensioning piston automatically returns to its initial position.
This operation enables easy sequencing of the cycles required to cover different elongation strokes.
