The EAT winding-unwinding system integrates into the complete process of positioning prestressing strands, in addition to pushers such as RP6.
After unwinding the steel from the coil via the pusher, the strands pass through removable anchor plates where they receive their anchors. They are then wound onto the winder, which can be moved to the end of the bed or directly to the production area.
Once positioned, the system enables the strands to be unwound cleanly onto the prestressing bed, ensuring their progressive and controlled positioning.
This operation enables:
- to prepare the strands upstream (anchors installed, ready to be positioned)
- to reduce manual handling on the bed
- to save time during positioning
- to improve safety in the organization of the construction site or precast facility
The system is particularly suited to industrial precast concrete facilities , where production rates and repeatability of operations are essential.
